checks out ______ crews will be working throughout the night to keep up with the snow that continues to fall in the corridor. as we deal with snow and freezing rain here, many iowans are also dealing with the less than ideals conditions as they try to travel to california to see the hawkeyes play in the rose bowl. bowl.cbs 2 news reporter kevin barry has an update as he deals with delays while traveling across the country for the big game. game. the thing is this is not all that uncommon for hawkeye fans trying to get to pasadena today, we saw a lot of people from a canceled flight to dallas last night and then a canceled flight this morning.a lot of people were upset, a lot of people wearing hawkeye gear, clearly on their way to the west coast to see the hawks play stanford in the rose bowl.the good news is, that game doesn't start for another few days so you still have a chance to get down there, even if it means amybe
